all about V

ME

You can call me V. I wouldn't say I'm easily aggravated, but... A lot of stuff bugs me. So much stuff that my co-workers insisted that I blog it all or they would. So here I am. I'm an interaction designer. I now live in San Francisco with my boyfriend JR, his cat Mercury, and my dog Winston, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He's 9 years old, but he's only been with me since September 2004. We just moved to San Fran in May 2006 to start our new jobs. When I'm not doing things related to design, I take pictures, explore our new neighborhood, flickr (here's my photostream) and blog. I'd like to take up pottery again - I used to be rather good, but something came up.

CANCER

I am a cancer survivor. In September 2002, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. That's what Larry David calls the "good" lymphoma. I went through chemo in 2002/2003, and as of September 2007 I've reached the five year point. That's a BIG milestone. I currently have a clean bill of health.

I don't really have a lot to say about myself. I thought there would be more to an "about me" page. But that's about it. *awkward pause* Hmmm...
