salt vs. pepper

It was a simpler time... The pepper packets were printed with navy blue ink, and the salt packets were printed with red ink. I could easily tell them apart in my drawer. I get used to things like this; I take them for granted. For a week now, I've looked over at the salt and pepper packet caddies (baskets?) and been aggravated that there's not only no salt, but they've filled both baskets with pepper packets!!!

I'm waiting near them today, aggravated again at the oversight, when I notice that one of them says SALT. "What?" I think... I look closer. Now the salt packets are printed in dark turquoise. So unless you look closely you can't tell them apart.

Way to go, caf! Yet another fabulous failure and great decline in user experience.
