forgetting i’m in b&w

I went out and took a bunch of pics today, and at one point I took a black & white shot. I then went off and took a bunch of fantastic shots in color at the Trinity Sculpture Garden. All the sculptures are dark green/blue/black metal with hints of purple and gold and rust. I went to switch lenses and decided to check through what I’d already taken only to discover that I’d left it in black & white!!! So I tried to take some make-up shots, but the light wasn’t the same, I couldn’t find the same angles, etc., etc. I only got a couple of good color shots.

And then I get home to discover that a whole set of shots from earlier in the day (where the fantastic color *was* the picture) were in B&W; too. The ONLY one that still turned out decent from that set was this one, which was of a sweet, bright red classic Ford pickup:
