wet carpet
I believe there is nothing that creeps me out more than wet carpet in the bathroom. I can’t stand it. I dry off completely, feet and all, before I step out of the shower. That’s how much I hate it. (Yes, I’m a joy to live with because I expect my S.O. to do the same too.) This revulsion of mine includes bath mats on tile floors. It’s weird – wet tile – slippery/scary, but OK. Any form of wet carpet – totally NOT OK.
Anyways, I had to get out of the shower to get my razor this morning. You can bet I was bitching about it the whole time. But then I forgot about it over the course of my shower, so it was a whole nasty wet cold surprise on my feet when I got out of the shower. *shiver* + ugh.

oh, obviously, that’s not *all* that bugs me … otherwise i wouldn’t have needed to start a blog just to record it all.

Why on Earth do people think that carpets in bathrooms are a good idea?
At least you can throw a bathroom rug into your washer (or the local laundromat’s) to clean.
A couple of weeks after a wash though, my bathroom rug kind of creeps me out. I have to wash it at least once every few weeks.
argh wet carpet. this of course includes drippings from dogs who just drank out of their bowl (or ours), melted-accidentally-dropped-and-forgotten-about ice cubes, and mysterious cold spots that might be wet so you have to get down real close just to check. These things also bother me on slick flooring. And any form of seating.
