We had our annual Design Holiday Extravaganza Spectacular (or something like that), which means we go to a movie in the afternoon (King Kong), then over to a restaurant (Cementville) to eat appetizers, drink, and do our white elephant gift exchange.

As always, Sandoval was in his red jacket, the food was pretty darn good, we drank a lot, and stayed late. My peppermintini gift bucket went over well, which makes me happy. When the festivities wound down we all sat outside in the freezing cold, snuggling up to those free-standing heaters, chimeneas, and occasionally each other. We even broke out the good old emergency kit foil hypothermia blanket. Good times. The bartenders pretty much sucked, and I almost overdosed on the "sour" part of my amaretto sours, but all-in-all, a good evening.
