vicious cycle

Hi. I just got home from work. I got in early today, so that was a 13 hour day. And it's not over yet. The only reason I'm at home is to let Winston out. Then I have to leave to pick up some food and go back to work for god only knows how long, just to get very little sleep and go to work early tomorrow, have another stressful day and probably work late tomorrow. Yay! And that's not all! Will I have to work over the weekend? The magic 8-Ball says "All signs point to yes!"

Sorry to hear that, v. Been There, Done That (and burned the t-shirt). Hang in there. Hopefully you'll have some fun company. If not, copious amounts of your favorite caffeinated or sugar-loaded drink help, a little.. though after that many ours, you may find yourself wearing more of it than drinking it (one late night, I grabbed a DP from one of the break room machines and popped it without thinking, spreading my cold refreshment across the *brand new carpet* in one of the buildings. Yes, at least one suspicious stain is probably my fault.)

If it's any consolation, it's going to be freaking cold in the evenings and very windy. Not exactly photo driving weather.

Well, since you worked late, it's now apparent to me that you're the one who messed with my books... again.

Seriously. This needs to stop.

Whatever stress you're experiencing at work should be vented through other, more constructive means... like racquetball or swimming.

Okay... We both know you didn't mess with my books. And we both know who did. But we're cube neighbors and you're supposed to have my back, right?

It's not your fault. I'm just growing weary. And I have far too much respect for the perpetrator's personal possessions to retaliate.
