lack of planning on our part...

We went to sleep at 1:48am and woke up at 2:30am to take a cab at 3:30am so we would get to the airport at 4am for a 6am flight. (Got that?) When we got there, there were already 15 people in line in front of us.

We bought all our luggage last night, and didn't get home til after 8pm. Then we had to go over to Pam's to give her the house key to take care of the animals while we're away. We grabbed a quick Barney burger, and then started packing and charging our electronics and all that jazz. This always happens to us. The commute really doesn't help.

And boy was I in a foul mood. Work had been kinda rough, and the ride home I pretty much just bitched, and that continued throughout the evening. JR is an angel for putting up with me - everything I couldn't find was his fault, everything that wasn't charged was his fault, etc., etc. You get the picture. He's a saint.

Now I'm off from Phoenix to San Antonio, where (amazingly!) my departure gate was only 2 gates down from my arrival gate! That never happens here! So it looks like my luck is improving. :)
