a couple of great quotes from the Laughing Squid Decade 2 party last night at the Mighty:

Me: Did you need me to move, or were you just grabbing my ass?
JR: I didn’t grab your ass.

Stranger: Tell me my wallet isn’t sitting on the top of my car right now.

Fire Cannon Guy: I don’t even know why I’m here. I thought there’d be dancing.

There was a great burlesque show, and a very cool old-timey lounge band, and this table of sand with propane running through it, so it became a zen fire garden. I liked that a lot. We were not dressed nearly freakily enough, that’s for sure. Best part: we caught a cab immediately. As opposed to the last show at the Mighty, where we ended up walking almost the entire way home, and it is NOT close.
