We went to see the Beastie Boys at Berkeley’s Greek Theatre last night, and … words fail me. There is not much I can say to express to you how unbelievably incredible this show was. I’ve never been to a Beastie Boys show before, so I had high expectations going in. And they blew those away. The energy of those 3 on stage was electric, and Mix Master Mike is AMAZING. They played every song I wanted to hear. And they kicked ass! I will go see them every chance I get.

Awesome!! I love that feeling after a concert. I had that recently when we saw the Flaming Lips in New Orleans at the Voo Doo tour. They put on the most amazing show – if you ever get an opportunity, they are a must see. I just looked up their tour dates and I see they’ll be in SA 9/24 Whoot! :)
Love teh Flaming Lips. That is indeed a great show.
Coming up we have Thievery Corporation, Cut chemist, Dinosaur Jr., Ulrich Schnauss and Octopus Project.
Oh yea, and I’m hoping to get good tix to a Evan Dando solo thing that will be in town. That should be different.
Oh yea and The Killers in Tahoe.. fcuk yea!
